Dear Hottie....
I started riding a street bike last year. A cruiser. And now I own a Harley. Yes, I have transformed into a dirtbag, and I owe it all to Martin, Dan, and Justin.
(man is it tempting to stop there and grab a bowl of popcorn for the fireworks)
Here is a story about how I became manly enough to wear a skirt in public and hug other men around the waist...
I first got onto two wheels a couple years ago. Dan hooked me up with a bike and Martin taught me how to keep the rubber side down. Justin showed me how to shovel dirt onto a jump and gave me something to chase after, and JR showed me how to start the bike and helped me up when I fell down. Now that I think about it, JR deserves a lot of the credit.
Last February I bought a cruiser. A Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic. It was sweet: apes, loud exhaust, skulls, spikes.... ahhhhh. The problem was taht the bike was in need of maintenance and repairs. Martin generously offered to help me out and nervously looked around for witnesses as he rolled her into his shop under the cover of darkness. She sure looked sweet hanging out with all those racing and dirt bikes, hehe

(proof of a dirtbag cruiser in a familiar location)
She sprang to life in the hands of my new mechanic, and a tear came to my eye when I saw the new tires that Martin and Dan had purchased for her. She was ready to ride and took me to far away places to meet other dirtbag bikers... all thanks to my mojazz buddies.

(despite all of his talk about "racing" bikes and such I knew that this was what Martin intended)
One day I went to chez Martin and was greeting by an elated JR proudly wearing his new leather jacket. The words emblazoned across his back said "Harley Davidson Motorcycles". It was only inevitable that this influence would start me dreaming of a real cruiser... a Harley Davidson. But my lovely wife was next in line so I bought her the first Harley.

I was a proud dirtbag. But my bike was still missing something so I thought back to my earlier training. Didn't Martin say something about performance? I thought for one moment that he said something about how cruisers were a pile of **** and that I needed to buy a REAL bike, but that passed quickly and I sewed another patch on my vest and polished the chain on my wallet.
I will admit it. Me loving cruisers, ape bars, old leather, and poor hygeine had nothing to do with Martin, JR, or Dan (Justin... a little bit). But I do owe each of them something for getting me on a bike and on the road to motorcycle bliss. Thanks guys... I am happy again.
Today I sat down and showed Martin a pic of my new Harley Davidson, which I bought yesterday, and I thought I saw a little tear in his left eye. I had paid more attention than my teacher thought... (scroll down)

Sweet! This is the best Harley ever made - which is why all of the "Harley" guys don't like it. So you'll still get a raft of poopie from all of the HD crowd, BUT, you'll be riding an infinitely cool cruiser!
Be prepared for some revs tho!
Good on ya brother.

Haha... exactly. The Harley guys will hate it for being a metric and the metric guys will hate it because it says Harley.
I will watch the revs bro.

Good Crikey. It's a good thing I didn't log into see this H-D drivel. Truth is, two wheels are always better than four but Milwaulkee steel???
Faster and faster until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.

Overhead cams, radial tires, redline above 4k - and it can get out of it's own way at a traffic light. I dunno, in terms of Mil-walk-eee I think it's a poser....
