Talk about raining on a parade. My wife and I both got laid off from different companies. Duh!
Tech sector here in the Silicon Valley is getting killed along with the rest of the world. Fortunately real estate is still hanging on, at least in my area.
Well the Goldwing should be sold today but I'm not parting with the Ducati or the 450X. I have chained myself to both of them in the garage. I put the Ruckus in my pocket LOL!
I'm still planing on the Tour this summer, jobs be damned. :)
I feel like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. Groan!!!

That is brutal - sorry to hear the news. If it is any consolation I believe that the economy is going to turn around relatively quickly in the spring. Not gangbusters or anything like that, but some recovery.
You are welcome to join our group on the TID this year if you can get away at the end of July.

I'm an optimist its my wife who is the nervous Nelli. I'm sure something will turn up, we have been here for some time and have a big network of connections in the tech sector so I'm not sweating it yet.
If she was working I could sneak out and ride in the dirt every other day but no such luck with her at home. LOL!
It actually has rained enough here that the trails are closed for the rest of the week. I've slowly been prepping the bike for the TID, I'll figure it out somehow.
Thanks for the offer.
That whole plating of the bike is pissing me off. They are so anal in California about that. Gives me something to work on between now and then.
Go Cardinals!!
