New for this year - the Tour of Idaho Mailbox. The mailbox is located right beside the road on a section of the Tour that anyone on any motorcycle should be able to do. There is a register inside, various goodies and num nums. Be sure to send us your own pics.

Do you have a problem with groups signing in if they're planning variations of the route? We'll be following the TID route more than 90 percent of the time, though we're still not going to ride the Massacre Mountain loop and we're going to start at a different point (Logan Canyon). We'll connect with the established TID tracks again at the south end of the Portneuf range just south of Segwick Peak.

Heck no! That's what it's for. Just to show that you were there.

Just to set the record straight - I only get going when someone claims to have done the entire Tour, as happened recently, while forgetting about all of the sections they skipped - over 100 miles (including all of the hard stuff). Even then I think that it's more something to laugh at than get wound up over.
