Dan and I will probably leave Pocatello sometime on 12/26 and plan on being in Laughlin that night. That way we can plan for 3 nights in hotels without paying the New Year's holiday rate.
That's our plan and we're sticking to it!

Hey Uncle Steven - I got an x-games moto bike for my birthday. It's got front and rear suspension and does really good jumps. Can I go with you guys?

:d/ Ok - the hotel/motel reservations have been made. You should have gotten your own copies of the reservations for the AVI in Laughlin and the Day's Inn in Barstow. In Baker we are staying in the Wills Fargo (760-733-4477). I booked 1 single and 1 double for each night in Laughlin and Barstow but three singles in Baker so that we can stash our bikes in our rooms. None of the prices are too bad ($22/night at the AVI!) but we will each be paying 60+ a night in Baker. Oh well - it's vacation.
Please review the copies you received of the reservations and make sure that they look good to you.
